I'm back home in Paris, but taking advantage of having a few photos 'in the bag' from Scotland, to give me time to get myself organised again at this end. There were lots of these sweet-singing little chaps buzzing around on our walk up to Loch Callater on Monday. Again, a one-handed deal, with the dog and lead in the other hand.
Excellent shot! It's so difficult to capture birds in a nice pose like this...especially one-handed while walking a dog. This Meadow Pipit is a new bird for me...thank you for the introduction. :-)
@gaylewood They live in and around the heather moorlands and nest on the ground. Because of this, dogs must be kept on the lead at this time of year. They are lovely little, sweet-singing birds.
