King Crab, Champagne and Croquet

What a fun day we had yesterday! We were invited to a farewell 'BBQ'. There was no barbecue however, but a wonderful spread including Alaskan King Crab and Champagne. The hostess is from Alaska and gets an annual delivery of King Crab ... all the way to France. What a treat for us to get to partake! Afterwards it was lawn croquet ... something most of us had never played! Pauline is getting some instruction here from Jean-Michel!

Great shot, and it does bring back memories. I haven't played croquet in years. Used to play it all the time grrowing up. We had a set and set it up in our yard just about every summer weekend when the family got together for a back yard picnic. Also played it year round -- After all, we live in southern California.
