Despite the early success, the week's fishing has not very productive. Despite perfect fishing weather conditions, the water is dour and there's a lot of time being spent just hanging out on the river bank, contemplating the life cycle of a salmon. Not by me, I may add, I'm up at our house during the day, trying to keep things moving forward.
Anyway, a bit of shenanigans on our son's birthday - he went off to snorkel the river to see if there were any fish around. A bit unorthodox, but done discreetly, and only possible because there were no other fishermen around! He saw nothing other than a one pound sea trout - not too encouraging!
Sorry for the lack of commenting. A lack of time, I'm afraid.
