The Galley burns, and the squads leave to begin the big party - the social highlight of the year. It begins at 9pm and ends at 8am with a Survivors' breakfast in town! We did not make it through the night, but wimped out somewhere between 3 and 4 am! However, the entertainment is a sight to behold as each of the 47 squads appear at some stage during the night to entertain the crowd - in 11 different halls. The organisation of the whole event is amazing.
WOW! This sounds like a real hardcore festival! I don’t think I would last the night! What an impressive set of photos you have shown us Issi - there are now lots of people who had never heard of this celebration who now want to go! Huge fav for this fabulous image!
