Wild Garlic on the Ness by jamibann

Wild Garlic on the Ness

Well, we finished our cycling challenge around Loch Ness on Saturday and had a super weekend. Our time was 4 hours 17 minutes for the 106 km, which we thought was not bad for two old codgers. Hubby now wants to do another Etape in the Borders in September, so we're thinking about that. Anyway, I didn't take any photos at the event - although we'll get some official ones. We were purely focusing on staying on the bikes - there were a few nasty accidents. However, we walked along the banks of the Ness on the Saturday afternoon and found loads of wild garlic along the riverside. I didn't gather any, as it wouldn't have lasted until Monday, but it was lovely to see and smell.

I'll be catching up on commenting over the next couple of days.

Beautiful .....it's not quite opening here yet....
Well done - great time on your cycle adventure. Jonathan and his friend took 5hr 30min but were happy with that. They enjoyed it anyway and that was good!
