Malus Baccata 'Rudolph'

At least that's what says on the label, which is still attached to the tree. It's a red crab apple tree, it seems. We didn't plant it - the previous owner of the house did. However, it's at the bottom of our garden and looks splendid in the Spring sunshine.

They do look wonderful in bloom. When my Dad died I rescued his pride and joy and brought it here to France - it's also in full bloom.
