Spoiled for choice

We have arrived in Nantucket, and I have to say although we've only been here for about 12 hours, I am already spoiled for choice for this morning's post. A sunset, beach meditator, flowers, lighthouse, bird ... however, I chose this one - I only wish that you could see the scene she was photographing on her I-phone. It would have completed the photo for me.

A day's exploring today and then Cape Cod tomorrow.

Our son finished University officially on Friday, and is happy with his final exams. He's off to Indonesia on holiday with girlfriend tomorrow before starting work in London in September. Daughter is off to China for work on Friday. It's hard keeping track of everyone! Life is good though.
Picture within a picture - wonderful! All the best to your wonderful kids on their travels and enjoy Cape Cod. Never been there yet, so looking forward to your images.

This is my favourite part of 365 seeing photos of the places people live in & their travels around the world. This is pretty much how I imagine Cape Cod to look like but a more personal view. Lots of travel brochure pictures if you want them but none like this. Proud mum & dad...it’s so good when your kids manage to find something to make them happy & successful.....sounds like nice visits to see them coming up!

You are capturing so much of the local flavor in your shots - this one probably could be elsewhere, but to me, it shouts Nantucket! Love the way you included so much in your scene - a wonderful story here. Enjoy the Cape - my favorite part of New England.

My father-in-law was hospital admin. for many years on Nantucket. I spent many summers there and holidays before it changed. I was married there.

@sailingmusic How wonderful! It's a fabulous island. However, I reckon we were there at the right time. It must get very busy in summer and very quiet in winter!
