Looking back on the final kilometre of Saturday's walk. We came from behind the hill in the distance, Craig Leek.
A section of our 100 year+ old granite stone garden wall came down the other day. Amazingly it's only on our side of the wall, so the wall is actually still standing. Getting a builder to come in at short notice is nigh on impossible, so hubby and I are trying to fix it ourselves. Quite the challenge. I'll let you know how it goes. Yesterday went well, but we have a few more days of work yet. I suspect you'll see a photo at some stage ... hopefully of our success!
Ouchies on the wall! Fingers crossed you manage it to your satisfaction, a challenging piece of work.
I like your view heading home. Warm and chill both together side by side.
Wonderful light and leading line. Love the autumnal colours. Keep my fingers crossed all goes well with the wall. They are pieces of art, and I'm sure this is not an easy job you have to do.

Good luck with your wall.
Sorry about your wall though. Lots of damage in the Shire after the deluge. We got off quite lightly!
