Cellardyke Harbour @ Anstruther

I loved this mix of lobster pots and washing hanging out to dry. I admire anyone who can be bothered to cross the street and walk down steps to hang out their washing, but I'm so glad they do! I can only imagine these washing poles have been in place for many years.
What a great capture and slice of life. As long as the washing does not take on the aroma of the lobster pots, I would do it too ;-)

I expect if you live there among the fishing stuff you would never ever smell it on your clothes…this is a lovely peep at everyday life on the coast! Love a washing line photo anywhere!

Such a "natural" shot of every day life here.

I hope there was no sea smell wafting about into those clean clothes!

I wonder if they ever get their washing pinched.

I had a little chuckle at seeing a washing line just plonked in the middle of nowhere

This is a great "slice of life" shot. I'm imagining it in black and white without modern cars and it'd be a step back in time too! Good eye!

This is such a vibrant slice of life. It looks even better on black.

Such a "common" shot but pleasant to look at. "A day in the life" sort of shot.

There's such a lot to see here and think about. A lovely shot.

I love to see the washing fluttering in the breeze - and maybe they do to.
