08h30 this morning, and all 3 'kids' are working in the kitchen. Mhairi and Ed at the table, Alexander at the breakfast bar. Changed days indeed.
The picture on the wall behind Mhairi is a pen and ink drawing of our house in Croissy Sur Seine, now sold. It's a lovely reminder of times gone by. The bottle of wine on the table amused me - the leftovers from last night.
I had a cousin called, Mhairi, and of course in the south of NZ there were a lot of scotsmen who settled there. Nice and clear B&W...concentration - familiar!
You have 3 ‘kids’. I thought you had two….how lovely to have all three home fir Christmas. They would be glad to see each other!
Lovely family capture…..very industrious for that time of the morning!
Left over wine…they did well!
@happypat that made me smile, Pat. I do only have the two, but Ed is Mhairi’s boyfriend, who’s come to be with us for Christmas. It’s the first time we’ve met him. He’s a lovely lad.
Hopefully they were just surfing the net and not having to work on their Christmas break. I know you're glad to have them there, no matter if they are working or playing. A cozy kitchen shot.
This is fun shot- lots of interesting bits there- I find it interesting that your daughter is wearing a New York City Police Department sweatshirt and there's a fur coat (?) of some sort draped over the chair!
@olivetreeann Funny what people notice in a candid photo. The 'fur coat' is just a 'faux sheepskin' which I have draped on the back of that seat to make it more comfortable for my dad! Daughter's t-shirt is one she found in her drawer here, very old, but bought in New York when we visited together many moons ago! :-)

Enjoy the days.
