This big bank of grey cloud never came to anything, but it caught my eye as we walked over the very windy plateau between Carn Leuchan and Pannanich Hill, yesterday. Down at village level there was no snow, but at 700m there must have been about 5cm. Wind and snow always make a walk more interesting! You can see how white Morven is, in the background of this image. The summit there is about 800m. I find the snow line fascinating.
I said hello to both the Leuchan Hare and the Pannanich Hare, but didn't stop to take photos of them this time around. :-)
