Who Knew?

Not me. For over 50 years, I never knew of the star hidden inside an apple. That’s more than half a century of apple eatin’ unaware! Now I know, but life’s rushed; so I must remind myself to slash open the apple and take a moment to appreciate the gift within. And give thanks. Apples always taste sweeter when I do.
