This Military Macaw at the National Aviary has quite a friendly disposition. It actually seemed to like being photographed! I just returned home from a wonderful day at the Aviary. I didn’t take my camera with me today, so I had to go to the photos I took there a few months ago for today’s post. As part of a special event, I was able to get up close and personal with this gorgeous Macaw. It was the perfect model and let me take dozens of photos. This is one of my favorites!
