…it’s a secret! This tie tack, handcrafted from antique mechanical watch parts, is a Christmas gift for my son. I find the tiny, intricate gears so interesting; and what fun I had capturing it with my new-ish macro lens. I’m tickled to give him this tie tack. I think he’s going to love it!
It is very interesting! Our book group is currently reading "The Hiding Place," and the main characters make watches, which are also a symbol in the book. This is a perfect illustration.
This is a fabulous shot of a terrific gift. He is definitely going to have something special there - a for sure conversation piece. You've really done wonderful work on capturing all those details.
@janetb I bet you are. Apparently you're sure he doesn't check your 365 Project. The other night when I took the Little Reindeer picture, I'd actually spent much of the evening taking family pictures that were set to be a part of a gift calendar for my parents but I couldn't post any of them as my mom keeps a close eye on my postings here.
@lyndemc I'll bet your calendar will be gorgeous! What wonderful gift idea! I send both of my kids my 365 photos; so since they don't actually view them on the site, I'm safe. My sister does get on the site each day to view my photos, though; so no pictures of her gift will be posted! :-)
