My grown children laugh every year when they hear me say, “You're never too old to color eggs!” Would Easter be the same without these bright, cheerful pops of color? I say not! So every year, I dye them. Every year, I display them on the peninsula. Every year, my sweet daughter turns them into a delicious egg salad. And every year, these traditions warm my heart.
I totally agree. the one I always loved doing as a kid was the one for my dad, we would dunk it in every color...it was a muddy mess. Great memories. I love your egg holder tree, is it old?
@pennyrae Hi, Penny...the egg holder isn't an antique, but it does remind me of some vintage wire egg holders that I've seen in the past. Thank you for sharing your sweet memory of coloring an egg for your Dad. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment on my photo. :-)
That is so great and I love how you displayed them. I was very uninspired this year and with no kids in the house anymore, I didn't dye eggs. You are making me rethink that. :)
Janet could you please re-hit the Fav button on my shot 'White chrysanthemum' as it hasn't registered
