I walked with light and shadow through the garden this morning as the sun played with the clouds and the magic reminded me of a verse from one of my favorite poems. This verse adorns a plaque in the kitchen garden, compliments of my thoughtful husband.
The kiss of the sun for pardon,
The song of the birds for mirth,
One is nearer God's heart in a garden,
Than anywhere else on earth.
