Disgusting day weather-wise, cold and rainy all day - not much fun. I think it is the first extended period of rain that we have had since the piglets were born. Their enclosures are beginning to look a bit like The Somme.
I spent some time sorting Sam's room out. He is getting rid of all of his old toys and has big plans for re-organising it and getting a new bed. Graham has been at the races in Windsor this afternoon on some work related jolly. He is being a bit cagey about how he got on. Put it this way, I don't think he is going to be retiring just yet......
How did you get this? Were they all together or have you amalgamated a series and compiled as one? I think it is amazing, can't capture swallows at all ever!!! To have six all in different stages of flight is fantastic. Fav
Beautiful , and like the others I thought of music script -- with the notes flowing by !! Hope Graham will share his winnings with you or better still a fab pressie !!
@lucypics I took it on the same day as this one http://365project.org/jantan/365/2013-08-22 There were about 60 or 70 of them on the telephone wires behind our house. Every few minutes they would take off and swirl around and then land again.
@northy@cookie123 Funnily enough I have got a series of photos of birds on these phone lines that I keep meaning to edit to look like musical staves, but have never got round to it. Maybe a project for another rainy day.

I thought it looked like musical notes too. It's a cool shot. Sometimes editing can completely change something but that's not a criticism at all. I love the way this turned out xx

Sure Graham's preparing to break wonderful news about that 200-1 punt that came in against all the odds...
