A sweet image of a rather sad kitten. Being both a (human) nurse and an animal lover, I can see that this poor kitten has a dreadful conjunctivitis, most probably chlamydial and may loose his or her sight without treatment. I have seen kittens like this abroad and it breaks my heart because one is so impotent and unable to help.
Love this - Don't get to catch a shot like this very often. Terrific focus and light. How nice to enjoy the whole experience. Too many times we rush through life and miss experiences like this. A nice warm smile from here, Jerome.
@marshwader The dignity of life - it applies to humans and animals. I'm not a doctor, not a vet. But I would like to be convinced that people in this mountain hut take care for their pets.
Thank you for your comment!
Such a great shot. So crisp, the details. I confess I would find it challenging to pass so many kittens without homes. Though, it does look as though they are fed and cared for, as you mention.
