View from the summit of Dachstein to the surrounding Alpine mountains. Dachstein is with 2995 meters the highest mountain of Upper Austria. To reach the summit, you have to cross the glacier you see in the picture.
Oh my, this is just beautiful, Jerome. The colors have almost a softness to them - so different for the actual harshness of their height - Remarkable to be up so high.
What a glorious range of mountains revealed. You work hard for your beautiful views Jerome but I know that you are happy to do so and take it in your stride. Love the image.

But as I wrote: I think I'm quite normal - I have my thoughts, my feelings and longings. But it is true: I love unobstructed width. That's one of the reasons why I go to the mountains. I envy the pilots who soar above the clouds every day, can see the earth from above. In my mind I aspire to this: to discover relationships, understand the big picture... Thank you for your nice visit!
Thank you all for your nice comments!
It touches me when I can share the beauty of the mountains with you!
