@katrinanz Thank you, Katrina, for your kind comment!
In New Zealand you live - it must be a country with wonderful landscapes. I would like to visit it once.
Lovely. My favorite place to be is in the mountains. I live in NH and hike the White Mountains but love to travel and hike others. I look forward to following you
@andifree
Dear Andrea, thank you for your lovely comment! Thank you for following! In New Hampshire you live? How nice! For many years, I dream of traveling and hiking this area during the Indian Summer. I imagine that is wonderful. And I would like to see the houses of the Shaker. I have read much about it, the design of the furniture and appliances is very nice. But I have just seen pictures.
@jerome I just restarted 365 after several years away but if you follow me you are sure to see lots of pictures of our mountains and maybe even some Shaker things!! :)
@andifree The Shaker - they had an object culture that - I think - means a lot for us today. Simple, yet very pure and tastful design. A timeless, high-quality beauty in the practical. Everything with a human dimension. I have a great respect for what these people have done.
I am just talking about the tools and buildings they have created. In other things there is questionableness, which is why there are no people any more for these settlements.
Thank you all for your nice comments!
