A ride with a hot-air balloon is certainly a nice thing. An alpine crossing from up there must allow wonderful views over the mountains.
I've never done something like this, it is no cheap pleasure.

Lovely photo. I have done a hot-air balloon tour in Africa - it was amazing. When the burners came on the animals had no idea where the noise was coming from!
But with your snow shoe tour you have so much more intimacy and oneness with the environment. No whirlwind romance but a lasting relationship. Makes a great shot though.
@helenhall You are absolutely right. This is one of the reasons why I am in the mountains: When hiking, I feel my legs, my arms, my whole body. And I am very close to the mountain - feel and smell the rock, feel and hear his breath. I feel him hugging me.
