This is how it looks now in the garden. For many years I have placed the bulbs of crocuses in the meadow in autumn. They delight me every spring with their blossoms - without any further effort on my part.
@kali66 Thank you, Kali, for your kind visit!
I suspect saffron is extracted from a specially cultivated plant. In the photo you see ordinary garden flowers.
My harvest: It is nice to allow life in the garden and to enjoy the beauties.
Stupendous!! exquisite colouring which bursts out of the image to assault the optic nerve/brain with excitement.. your work, of moments duration, has left a lasting legacy of stunning/magical beauty..
What a beautiful garden you have, Jerome. I really love these little blue crocuses! It makes me want to plant some in my small garden. But I think I must wait till autumn... I will research it!
@jorlam Your compliments make me embarrassed... I see my work always critical. Line, shape, light-dark, colour, space, direction, gesture, expression,... always the same means in a new context. It is a challenge. Experience touches me very much when a picture appeals to other people. This process is marvelously beautiful.
@kerosene Thank you, Caroline, for your nice visit! The bulbs of crocuses are best planted in autumn. After the long, dark and cold winter nights, the colours of the spring will delight you.
