Wonderful textures, i can almost feel those ridges as the light pours over them, bringing a sense of depth when combined with the essential shadows.. The beautiful patterns cannot be bettered, mother nature is magnificent.. your processing, as always, is handled with care and delicacy.. the outer edges of the frame are very light in tone and as one progresses through the layers of texture/pattern one's eye is drawn to the darker centre where one encounters yet more pattern.. drawing the eye to the centre was performed with aplomb.. a masterly stroke.. it happens almost without notice.. i more than like this image.. startling in it's simplicity, yet scratch the surface and it's complexity is revealed.
