one look and i knew it's your photo, jerome. and i thought you went to mars. :-) there is a sense of foreboding in the colour tone of the landscape. aces!
(I hesitate to add here, but feel the need to do so since I just left the comment about Manchester's tragedy... If men without a soul could look upon the beauty in this world and internalize *this*, perhaps they might know what it means to be human and to empathize.)
Its interesting to read how people interpret the red landscape...perhaps they should go to the Kimberleys! A truly beautiful place Cape Leveque and not at all Mars like. Your processing is amazing.
@Weezilou Dear Louise, I absolutely agree with you.
The ancient Greeks thought that anyone who surrounds with beautiful things gets a beautiful soul. Whoever sees the beauties of nature and is touched by them, who appreciates the designed form, can also be sensitive in the encounter of man to man.
@hrs Thank you, Helen, for your nice visit!
Cape Leveque is a wonderful place. One must probably have seen the shapes and colours in reality. This burnt Sienna of stones and sand - I carry it deep inside me.
@jerome I appreciate the added historical layer you shared here, and it feels so very good to be in full understanding with another individual. Thank you for that!
@psychographer Then let's go... We walk along in the sand, which will soon shine in the light of the young sun, along the waves that lose themselves in the beach...

Thank you all for your nice comments!
I like to remember this place. When I look at the picture, I see the early morning light slowly spreading over the sea and the beach. I hear the voices of the waves, smell the scent of the ocean and feel the gentle wind that caresses my cheeks.
