A fog lake is spreading between the mountains. Hidden under this mist is Hallstätter See - a mountain lake that attracts many people. Hallstatt is a world cultural and natural heritage landscape. Hikers, climbers and winter sports enthusiasts will find very nice tour destinations in the surrounding mountains.

@jerome There are "photos of the mountains..." and photos taken with the eye of a Master Photographer, and it's our good fortune to have you in our midst!
@moonmtn You've already visited Hallstatt - that makes me very happy. The houses are very nice, but especially the location on the lake and the surrounding mountains. This area has a special charm
@Weezilou Thank you for your so kind and warm words, Louise!
"My" mountains... I like sharing them with you. I love the mountains. They give a lot, they tell and teach a lot. You just have to listen.
My pictures... I try to represent the beauties of the mountains. To love something means to give it time. And when taking pictures I take a lot of time - whenever possible. I try to fathom the essence of a moment, I let myself be embraced by the atmosphere of a situation, by the colours, shapes, by the light... It is always a new challenge. And I always hope that the pictures speak...
Thank you all for your so nice comments! I am still very happy that you like to look at pictures of the mountains.
Please excuse me for being so late - I was quite occupied recently.
