Purple or is it Pink?

Walking in Hendricks Park last night after work...it is even daylight! Amongst many huge trees downed by the heavy snow on Wednesday were also beautiful harbingers of Spring. SOCC

Magnolias? I had a small one similar to this color, but it didn't make it thru the winter a few winters ago. It's gorgeous! So sad about all the downed trees.
