Bedraggled

There were a few moments when it was only drizzling a bit rather than raining and before thehigh winds began. I spied this bedraggled looking Blue Heron and went back to the car to get a longer lens. I like the wind in his top knot, his one footed stance, and the way he had his feathers puffed out as if to hide under a thick winter coat.

Oh he looks so cold...i dont know why ..but i worry about the birds during the winter...just seems so cold to be outside flying around! :) But then i remember the scripture God promises us....He will take Care of all of us...even the birds! :)
