Cape Foulweather Waiting To Sail

I went down to the marina hoping to buy fresh tuna off one of the boats. No such luck but I had a camera with me to I used the time before an appointment to take some shots. The light wasn't good so I decided to go to black and white.
Thanks so much for your visits, follows, comments, suggestions, favs. I really appreciate them

I love the composition here -- the 'big boat, little boat' look is quite cleverly done, and the little boat looks to be trying to emulate the bigger one. I do like to anthropomorphize objects -- but doesn't that little one look like it's trying to be in the exact position and standing as tall as possible? Kind of cute!

Really made quite an impressive shot in b&w - love the contrast of sizes - that tremendous stately dark ship and the little mimic white one - love the opposites!

I wasn't even looking at the little boat There are so many pleasing aspects to the main ship. The rigging is so fascinating. Great shot

My first thought was 'Big Toot, Little Toot', the characters in a well-known kids' book. Very clever Jane.

I remember this ship from earlier posts - majestic. And you have properly filled your frame with all of it's majesty!
