Plum Basket by jgpittenger

Plum Basket

We've had an abundant plum tree for years that we planted soon after we moved here but about 5 years ago we cut down another plum tree without realizing that it was necessary for pollenization. No plums for several years while the replacement trees got big enough to replace the cut down one. This is the first year for a long time that we've had our bellies happily full. This is only about 1/20th of the harvest.
Thanks so much for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
Those plums make my mouth water!! I think you finally got a real good crop after years of waiting.....I think I made that mistake myself, and some of my fruit trees are just not bearing. This is a lovely composition, especially with those reflections! FAV!!
