Jim and I had to take an errand trip to Eugene to get ready for our delayed trip. While we were there, we figured we might as well go see how the eaglet was growing. Dad is watching over from above and the baby's feathers are now darker. I wondered when I was here before why there seems to be so much less feeding activity by the parents than last year, and I finally realized that with one bay as opposed to the two they had last year, they only need to bring 1/2 as much food. It is easier to see the baby in the nest if you view it on black
I was really tickled to see my hummer on the TT this week. Thanks somuch and thansks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs
Yes much easier to see on black......growing well & you would think you were standing so close to that amazing nest....it looks rather a wild & lonely place which figures as the Eagle wouldn't nest in a town!! Wondering how far you have to walk to get there?
