How wonderful to see something like this while on a hike. I am a lover of the outdoors, and have been sidelined since last July when I really messed up my knee at work...so, I am envious for sure.

Sigh...I'm afraid I'll miss the trilliums this year on Beaver Island. They always welcome us around Memorial weekend, but I won't be up again til mid-June. I'm glad to see your image -- very springlike.
