Best on black. Here is one of the few birds we saw on our trip. I thought it was kind of poignant the contrast between this beautiful bird and the modern day power structure.
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs. For those who have asked me re how I like my rented nikon 500mm lens...I suspect it would take more than my allotted rental time to really get the best it offers. It is heavier with my Nikon D810 than my Sony A9 with 100-400 lens and I think it searches for focus at least as long as the Sony non prime lens especially with the recent firmware update to the Sony camera. It's been fun to use but I'm not rushing to save up my money for it.
I agree with your comment and I love the way your bird is so clear and focused and free while the power pylon is a dim. ominous intruder in the background. :)
