Salmonberry by jgpittenger

Salmonberry

Salmonberries are invasive berry plants that are the primary plant that needs to be weed eaten to clear trails on our property and let baby trees flourish. On the other hand, the flowers and berries are really pretty! I photographed this on our hike with my phone. They have just begun blooming.
Thanks for your visits, comments, suggestions, favs. My little house finch is delighted you liked her and put her on the PP!
Beautiful bloom!

I hear what you're saying, but I do like this image, the lighting is spot on.

Such a beautiful plant. We have a few invasive species. They can be really difficult to control.

How frustrating to have such a beauty as this being so invasive!

The flower is gorgeous (and like the leaf, too). Why do they have to get so carried away!!
