As I was driving to work, the sun briefly popped out of the clouds shedding a sweet light on the river. I pulled over and took a few shots. This train bridge has featured before in one of my posted photos. I tried boosting the contrast in the b and w but I wonder if I needed a photo with more contrast between light and dark? Suggestions?
Is that little building on the top Jane ? An amazing bridge & I do remember it from last time but you didn't show as much of it then I think ! Yes I think it is possibly a little dark , you would get more definition if you lightened the exposure a little perhaps !! What do you think ?
@happypat I'm going to play around with b and w and contrast and all that stuff this weekend. I so appreciate your suggestions? And yes, it is a little house that the person who used to open the bridge sat in
Siuslau River Bridge No. 7 is a railroad swing bridge in Cushman, OR, USA. Thank you Jane for waking the sleeping gray cells. What software are you using?
I don't think you'd want to lighten it much. It's very slightly dark, but not by much. Better to be a little dark and have good contrast, than too light and not have enough contrast.
