@la_photographic gave me doing a silhouette for my get pushed challenge this week. Thi si I have a lightened, and no longer silhouette, version. The silhouette can be seen in my main album.
I think I prefer the lightened version. Opinions?
I think I prefer this - I've mistakenly darkened things to make them silhouettes before and actually I like to see a little detail like this. Both beautiful though.
Jane, I love both looks to this capture! Here, the light in the clouds and the dimmed lighting on the Lighthouse give it a nice mood, and the silhouette shot in your main album is gorgeous with its deeper colors. I really do love them both!
Another difficult choice - I like them both for different reasons. But as I like lighthouses this one is the winner for me - I like the detail in the structure and the tones in the sky.... and the hint of light from the lamp...
Isn't it fun to get the lighthouses? I got a video at the library that tells the history of all nine on the Oregon Coast. We both got this one but you captured a spectacular sky with yours. I think I have photographed five of the nine.
