03-10 corrected

I had made a adjustment and see I don't like it so I am posting the original.
See explanation at http://365project.org/joansmor/extras/2014-03-10
I see the difference and agree - I did wonder why you had lightened my original. I can do no better than repost the comment I made on the other one:

Joan, this is brilliant - I especially like the inverted B&W image as counterpoint to the 'normal' one. Now, if you can learn to bring to yopur personal photography the skill and talent which you display here for Digital Scrapping - you will be a superstar on here. What? You want a Fav as well? Already done!

All of this was just a sneaky ploy to get another Fav - you can't pull the wool over my eyes!

I see you still got snow there? I havent seen snow at all this year :-( but spring is here allready, blossoms, terrasses full with people, nice temperatures. I hope for you too soon (I'm still jealous at the snow) thanks for your challenge, now I give you yours: A portrait from a familymember or a friend or maybe a stranger. Good luck!

What an imaginative showcase of your skills as a Digital Scrapbooker...definitely merits capital letters. Dare I say...the start of another album perhaps? Groundbreaking fave!

@vignouse I have two excuses for that error in lightening. One it was early morning and I should never do adjusting before the coffee kicks in (probably you don't have that problem) and two I use a laptop and how things look depends on the tilt of my screen. (You can probably explain that but it drives me crazy) And when I looked at it I thought I was losing some of the detail because of the gradient I had put on the mask.
And thank you for the Fav's, it is a scary thing to put someone else's pictures in a page, and I am so glad you were pleased. I hope to print out a copy on my day off to put up on my board. (Ikes that's a lot of black ink)

@debbie3108 @barbarajdonnellan @eyesmile What a joy it is to share my love of scrapping with my new friends on 365. I love looking at your photos every day and they are encouraging me to get out and take more photos.

@bby I don't do portraits on this site too open. I have one gf who has said she might help me sometime but the only chance now would be on my day off and we are expecting a big snow storm. So please I beg off and ask another challenge. I don't see many strangers because I get home from work at 7 and am in bed by 8:30 or 9. I might be able to do this in summer but it is still winter here. Have I given you yours. Gosh I am behind.

@bby Oh yes I remember now.

ok no portraits, something with silhouets then? Doesnt have to be people ofcourse. Just use backlight to catch some nice shapes.

@bby Thanks for understanding. I will get to portraits eventually. But I will be happy to try silhouettes.

@mei_photography Well, I joined 365 to learn to take better pictures for my digital scrapping. These of course are Richard's pictures.
