The results - scrapper blending

When @annp2014 challenged me to capture texture this week. She probably had more in mind something like what @vignouse did with the abbey earlier this week. But I am a digital scrapper and we capture textures to blend and make photographs more interesting. So in my three albums I show the texture, the original photograph and the blended result. Comments welcome. This is the result.
@annp2014 This is from a picture I took this morning and combined with a texture I took earlier this week. I am happy with it hope you will be too.

I think this is simply stunning - it's a perfect response to your challenge and a great example of how textures can be used to enhance a photograph... too often they are used just as an attempt to be arty and they actually detract from the image. This is a beautiful little cameo shot and I like the faint reflection - it adds depth.

@vignouse I can get arty with my textures too depends on what I am trying to do. But loved how this came out. Out early 6:30a.m. Taking photos cloudy but hoping I got some good shots, went to the old mills, then saw a dog at the grocery store, then someone was feeding the Canada geese - just a feast of photos. Will have to see if I was up to it.

This is lovely...I will look at the others but the color just glows on that black. Very nice. Thank you again for such lovely comments...so appreciate you Joan!

This is very nice and I love that you used a scrap-booking technique to add the colors! I am a digital scrapper too!

@kbird61 Well, how did I not know that. Hey suggest scrapbooking for a word next month as May is Scrapbooking month. Multiple suggestions usually get the nod.

@debbie3108 I am just a talker. LOL This was fun to do and I was surprised to have it come out as it did.
