How crazy am I. I start posting on here commenting and answering comments and @eyesmile has a picture taken from her window while drinking coffee. Well, hey, I'm by my window drinking coffee. So I pulled back the curtain expecting to see clouds and maybe soft rain (it had been raining earlier). No the skies were practically clear and it was before sunrise. Oh my get dressed - grab the camera and get to #1 pond. Now they say get there an hour early, set up. Well I didn't the sun was just peaking over when I got there but managed to get some pretty good pictures (and some pretty bad pictures), But mostly another learning step in my process. I think this is one of the best. I will comment more and catch up tonight. After all it's about taking pictures. RIGHT!
@debbie3108 I took this morning at 5:42 a.m. Yes my camera time is pretty much right on. See photo details. I left the house at 5:20 and was home by 5:51 with freezing fingers (44F).
Hi Joan. I'm your get-pushed partner this week. Sorry about the delay in your challenge coming over. I've browsed your beautiful photographs - your work is really lovely. I don't seem to see any abstract images though. How about trying an 'arty', abstract shot or two for the challenge. You can use anything in the home, or take it outdoors... out of focus lights, bright colours, whatever you can think of. Does this sound like something you'd like to try?
@vignouse Sunrise here was 5:14 a.m. and the golden hour should be for the next hour. But I know there are other descriptions of this. I would love to go to the beach tomorrow morning and try this but that would mean leaving her by 4:30 just to get there and set up by sunrise. Don't know if I am up to two mornings in a row.
@gailmmeek Abstract is not my strong suit. But then that is why I do get-pushed. I will try it but don't expect miracles. I have a few "abstracts" but if you didn't recognize them that speaks to my ability. LOL
