Stopping by the woods on a snowy "morning"! by joansmor

Stopping by the woods on a snowy "morning"!

Took a little liberty with Robert Frost.
I took this shot at one of my stand by places. Wanted to capture the first snow that actually stuck. Left early for work and was richly rewarded. Snows all gone now here in our southern part of the snow. I imagine it will return. By the way I shot in color, but there just wasn't any color to be had. Later in the day I captured a terrific color autumn shot to post if I get desperate this weekend.
This is excellent, really well done. Love the tone, it really brings out the pops of snow here and there.

This shot is very interesting even though it doesn't have much color but what I don't understand maybe you can help me out on this one, can we post pictures taken on the same day at a later time? I'm not familiar with fillers and I'm looking for some understanding. Please Joan take the time and write to me.....I do love your shot though!

@skskunky If you are an Ace Member you can have more than one album. If you are not an Ace member you can only post one picture a day. But you mention fillers. As I understand the term you mean if you have missed a day can you go back and fill in. The program picks a date usually based on the date you took the picture but you can change that date and thus put a picture into a filler date. You have to do this when you upload. Now I am not sure I have answered you question or not but fill free to give me more information.

@kt8ird Not posting comments tonight. My "step daughter" called (she is 8 years older than me. Her son, my dh's grandson, committed suicide this week. I am just feeling a little sad about this news and not in the mood for pictures. I will comment tomorrow.

@joansmor Oh goodness. Hugs and prayers to you. Tragic news.

I really like the mood of this shot! And I don't mind the liberties with Frost at all- it's perfect for the shot. So sorry to see the post about your family's loss this week. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. My brother in law committed suicide this past May. Death is difficult enough but with suicide so many unanswered questions.

Very sad news, thoughts with you and your family. This photo is great, very wintery feel to it, like the choice for monochrome.
