Another shot from our trip to Lake Winnipesaukee at Wolfeboro Harbor. As we returned to the car I did a few shots of things I always see when coming in the Summer. This Hot Dog stand is one of these and when I cropped in on the stand I liked the look on this man's face and the cigarette in his hand like a little pointer. But the background was so busy. So a blur layer and a mask and lots of painting on the mask to reveal what I didn't want blurred. I might play longer with it if I had more time but off tomorrow for a little 3 day weekend in Vermont. My nephew is housesitting. Tomorrow I get to meet a cyber friend I have had for 4 years and never met in person. So excited. Not a 365'r but a caregiver from my WW group. All our group is so jealous.
Great candid. Love the playing around to get what you want. I have a photo I need to blur the background on.... Someday when I get the time. Have fun tomorrow meeting with out friend from WW. You lucky dog you....LOL...so green with envy...LOL.
Your processing is what makes this a great shot. My eye is drawn to the stand which is fascinating with so much to look at, but I'm not at all distracted by the unwanted background items. Wonderful effect and outcome!
Hi @joansmor I am your get pushed partner for this week. I have enjoyed looking through your past challenges and albums and I see you have done quite a few different editing and photography different techniques! So, I am going to set you the following the challenge. I would like to see a photograph that depicts chaos. You can interpret this however you want, a few examples could be clashing colours, clashing textures, subjects/objects looking disorganised, out of place etc..I hope you have fun with this push, I look forward to seeing your picture.
