We stopped here at the beach for a couple of shots. I liked the color coordination of the group and think it works to convey a lazy beach day (with the kiddies in school). Thanks for all your comments and favs this week. Boys me up.
I would never in a million years have figured this shot for one of yours Joan... but I'm glad that you posted it. It sums up that period at the end of the holidays when the weather is still good and us 'oldies' have the place to ourselves - nice one!
@vignouse There is a benefit to following people and viewing their "stuff" every day and that is that your eye sees more pictures. I like to think my horizons are broadening while staying true to me. Plus Blue is my fav color. Ordered my new polarize filter and an nd filter. Send me an email if you can this week how to use it. Going to Acadia National Park for a three day weekend next weekend (It's on the coast and as some amazing views so totally me.) Please and thank you. Will only have it for the smaller lens the step down is expected to arrive later.
@joansmor I'll send you a mail over the weekend, but I'm a bit concerned that you say you will only have the filter for the smallest lens barrel - you need it for the largest. You can put a big filter on a small lens but if you do it the other way round, you'll almost certainly get vignetting.
@joansmor Phew, OK. So that I know how best to advise you, I need to know what factor ND filter you bought - ND1000 I hope - and is it single tone or variable?
I really like this shot. The shallow DOF highlights the people on the beach, with their bright colors and chairs, with a suitable blur on the ocean and foreground sand.
