I have to admit that I had forgotten where the 2nd lighthouse was at Two Lights in Cape Elizabeth. But today I stumbled across it. I am becoming a good photo driver. Today I took my sister to Portland. To Deering Oaks Park, Western Prom, Eastern Prom, The Cabot cheese store, and AAA for maps. This afternoon we hit 5 lighthouses. I would hire out to any 365'r for lunch and good companionship. If Graeme Stevens stops by I do not get in cars with strange men.
Great shot Joan. This lighthouses across the street from my friends house. It's privately owned and set pretty far back from the water ....so not a typical location for a lighthouse. Glad you found it. Bet all the lighthouses you hit we're in cape and SoPo!
What a great offer to us! A meet up to see 5 lighthouses -- how could anything be better?? Love the scene of the lighthouse light peeking above the trees.
@dianen And I forgot to count Ram Island light so it was all six. I didn't get a picture of Portland Head there were 3 cruise ships in Portland a lot of them must have been at Portland Head when we were. Honestly it was super busy. The surf at that little beach at Fort Williams was wonderful.
@taffy Actually I forgot Ram Island (bring a long lens) and of course on the way to Eastern Prom we pass the Portland Observatory. (My sister got that from the car - she shoots a lot from the car as she get winded getting out of the car a lot.) If you come I would up the price - a little photo teaching. LOL
