Can't eat just one! by joansmor

Can't eat just one!

My niece and I watched one get four balls in his beak before he flew away. But I didn't have the camera out as I was sitting talking to my niece. She was thrilled to see it. They are going to eat me out of house and home - well maybe only out of "bark butter balls." I have had better starling shots but this is a good one of him eating. Or is he filling up to take back to the nest. Will keep my eyes out for babies especially sense the Canadian goose one didn't work out.

Oh, these guys know how to maximise the moment! We have them around now in huge numbers, and I find they love the cat food on the porch! We figured it out and it's less expensive than buying them peanuts! ...and it's probably packed with good nutrition!

Not a fan of Starlings- but they don't find their way to our woods too often. In fact, I don't think I've seen one here at all.

We call starlings the "soccer fans of the bird world"...always raucous and out of control.
