No place to sit in a storm

All these rocks have been placed here as the tides rise and during storms, they strew rocks everywhere. The people have pushed them into a pile trying to slow the destruction. Many coastal town are tying to share ideas on how to slow the destruction and remain beautiful areas.

Are the seats chained to prevent theft or them flying off in a storm??

These types of sea defences, and uglier made from concrete, pretty much surround where I am ( except where property isn't valued enough to protect!)

The pebbles (or ro) make a beautiful picture combined with the two chairs. I wonder who would care to sit on them, having to walk on that difficult ground and waiting to be carried away by sea or wind.

those chairs look so out of place positioned like that. Makes for an intriguing shot. Controlling the force of the tide is an ever increasing problem.
