Think Glen Campbell by joansmor

Think Glen Campbell

I was actually photographing a big construction shovel when I saw the pattern here. So jumped over a few feet and captured this for the pattern-texture group. Felt I got a twofer - pattern and leading lines.
Lovely shot and great pattern!

I don't have a clue where Wichitaw is... but I'm betting that it's nowhere near Maine! Great title for this shot though. Well spotted Joan - this would also have worked well in B&W I think.

Great lines and I love the way the poles lead you into the photo - great shot

@vignouse The song is Wichitaw line man. And I believe that is about a man who worked the electrical or phone lines out west. Anyways that what I always thought. That was my thought process. But you already now my mine works sideways. LOL

@perspectivesimages My favorite composition style is leading lines. One of my first get-pushed challenge was to use a composition rule. I realized than that I had been using this rule without even being aware of it.

@kbird61 Thanks Kay. Sort of cliché but I liked it.

@joansmor I know the song very well Joan - I can even sing it most of the way through... not that anyone (in their right mind) would want to hear it!
