He was on the phone so I said I was going to run out and get a shot. I did no jacket. Brrr I got a few shots and think this is the best. Tried to follow a little of the rules of composition in particular diagonal lines. Like how the roof lines seem echoed in the clouds. That single window is my office window. @sianipops this is for you.
Awesome end of the day colors. I do like the repetitive lines - the roof, the electric lines and even in the clouds T.he diagonal line in the clouds draws my attention. I find the sign on the side of the building distracting and wondered if (in not frigid weather) if you could position yourself a little more to the left? That might also make the lines of the roof more of a leading line to the sky.
Hi Joan, sorry I didn't get a chance to comment on this yesterday but I love the colours here. I agree with Nia (your sister?) that the sign is a little distracting - try cropping just above your office window and drop the top down as well to create more of a panoramic view and see if you like the effect..
@vignouse My sister is @janiskay Nia is my get push partner this week. Have you tried that challenge it is fun and push me to try new things. Yes, maybe it will be warmer next time I try. I want to put this in my project 12 for my scrapbooking so I will try your crop suggestion there. Always a better picture for my scrapping.
