Fly, Fly away by joansmor

Fly, Fly away

I went out at 6:30 a.m. to take some pictures before the rain hit. I wanted some texture pictures. I got some wonderful pictures down in the mills, then went to the grocery store. At the store parking lot I took a picture of a cute dog in a truck. After shopping I headed home and at #1 pond a man was feed a Canadian goose. It was like I hit the jackpot all morning. Have lots of good pictures if this nasty weather persists.
Lovely shot and fun photo adventure day!

Sounds like you had a great day Joan and I'm really impressed that you got this duck in flight... something I've yet to manage to do. Hope today made up a bit for the tough time you've been having at work.

@silverhorn When he took to the sky I was just shooting as fast as I could. I little blending here to get the look I wanted.

@vignouse Work is too funny right now because the boss asked me not to fight with the Office manager. And then everyone else got in snits. I was in my office rolling on the floor. I'm bad. (Office manage and I are total opposites and clash a lot). My tongue is black and blue.

I missed this so had to come back and look after seeing your shot of the goose landing on the water. This is a great mid-flight capture. He seems to be soaring. Wonderful shot.

@barbarajdonnellan What no one has called me on is I blended the bird to get a clearer view and used the cloud and blur feature to put color in a blown out overcast sky.
