I: like that photo. It reminds me of some of the scenes in the woods outside the underworld during the show "Stranger Things" on Netflix. What trick did you apply to get that effect?
@mbrutus Thank you very much, I started with a zoom burst of my backyard looking into the morning sun. I did tweek the raw image a bit to make the colors snap a tad and then went into color efex solarization for the final weirdness. Hope that helps.
@megpicatilly You are very kind, thank you. I saw the sun giving a golden look/glow to my over abundance of pine needles and thought maybe I could do something with that but it morphed into this instead. The pine needles are having a huge laugh at the moment.
@gerry13 Thank you so much, my own husband said, "well okay" but then I am always out on that limb of strangeness.
@domenicododaro Thank you, I didn't start out with ManRay in mind but glad that I noticed Kali's artist challenge post and then went from there.
@deborah63 Man Ray's work is striking ( http://www.theartstory.org/artist-ray-man.htm) give it a try. Would love to see what you come up with.

@stephanies Thank you, very grateful for the fav. Funny, that's what my son said that it was like a movie version of a drug trip. This is the one that inspired me ( https://www.pinterest.com/pin/321585229617384184/).
