@yrhenwr It happens in post processing. Swapping the reds or blues and vice versa. I stopped at reds for blues and then fell into NIK's color efex pro for this effect. The 5/29 post was straight color while I also took several IR shots of the lily and then played around in post processing.
@kiwinanna Thank you so very much, I am enjoying the playing around with it a lot.
@graemestevens Thank you kindly, the softness of the lensbaby is an interesting effect combined with IR.
@deborah63 The typical time of day to shoot IR is high noon-bright sunshine. I pushed that by shooting with the morning sun behind and illuminating the lily. I liked the softness that happened.
@cjphoto Thank you very much, I am constantly surprised with IR and how it processes.
@ukandie1 Thank you a great deal. Not quite a B&W but close.
@stephanies Thank you so very kindly. The IR processing is still a mystery to me. I think I can repeat the same steps, have the same exposure etc and then things just take a whole new turn for me. I did get lucky with this.
@maskerade Your fav is so very nice and really appreciated. I am often still baffled with the post processing of IR but I will prevail-just because I am stubborn.
@megpicatilly I am truly honored with your fav, thank you! The extension tubes and the lensbaby are amazing.
@cscarr97 I truly appreciate it very much, the lensbaby is a cool toy.
@365projectorgjenfurj The IR shows many different aspects to things, love the way flowers etc reflect the light. The lensbaby and extension tubes are a great combination to play around with.
