I couldn't do it, I tried using glass in my final still life but the roses had other ideas. I know that I shouldn't blame the poor flowers. Okay for the record, the roses are sitting in a glass bowl full of water but you can't see it.
@ninaganci To be honest, this was a fall back idea since the original concept wasn't working. I just really liked the petal's texture and went softer and lighter from there. Truly, I am most grateful for the fav.
